what's happening at Nimble Needle

For cross stitchers the 2008 Prairie Schooler Santa has arrived. And a new arrival of many new charts from Rouge de Rhin and a few other french charts. They are very elegant yet simple. Many require minimal threads, and DMC at that. Many punch needle patterns for the Holdiays. And Valdani threads are now readily available. Needlepointers, an ever changing inventory or new canvas's. Plenty of Holiday ornaments to choose from. Large inventory of threads. New things on their way from l'esprit de france, Barbara Russell, Melissa Shirley and more. More Hamsa charts from Orna WIllis. Interest in this piece for a class? Or other idea's for classes? Please let me know. A silk ribbon embroidery class is in the planning stages. Silk ribbon is fun to work with and I love it because it produces huge results in a short amount of time. A few tips on technique and it's possibilities are endless. Ribbon can be used successfully on linen AND canvas. Details to follow. Kits available now from RIver Silks for those who can't wait. Kindly, Karen & Brit Melissa Shirley Designs

The Nimble Needle is excited to host a two day workshop with
Barbara Russell
(and trunk show too!)
